File transfer data are sent straight to disk, though there is a
small amount of in-program buffering. Screen capture data goes through
a small buffer too and thence straigh to disk. The latter is governed
by item cptsiz, defined in file mssdef.h as 256 bytes; you can reduce
this and recompile if needs be.
A better suggestion is to acquire a small UPS battery backup
unit so the computer survives brief power outages.
